Public Transport
Hornsby House School is close to excellent public transport links. Balham Station is a 7 minute walk and is served by both the Northern Line and Southern Rail. Several bus routes stop nearby in Balham High Street and Wandsworth Common Station is also within a ten minute walk.
School Minibus Service
From November 2024, in partnership with Vectare, we are launching a School Minibus Service. The service will begin at Tooting Station servicing several stops in and and around the Tooting Commons, before heading to school.
Travelling to Hornsby House
Our strategy is to support sustainable travel, leading to reduced congestion, improvements in air quality and the health and well-being of the Hornsby House community.
We encourage families to leave their cars at home and to walk, cycle (or scoot) to school, or use our School Bus Service, to promote less congestion in the area and greener local air! We have bike and scooter storage on site.
The school is situated in a residential area and parking near to the school is very limited. Visitors and parents are requested to show consideration for neighbouring residents when parking their cars. Visitors please note that there is a local parking restriction in force between 10.30am and 11.30am.
