At Hornsby House the curriculum is designed to take a child from Reception to Year 6 and to enable every pupil to reach his or her potential.
We offer a balanced timetable, with a broad range of subjects taught each week alongside a daily English and mathematics lesson.
The school week also includes the opportunity for practical, creative and physical activities, both within and outside the classroom. As the children progress through the school, the number of specialist subject lessons increases and the children have the opportunity to experience a variety of teachers and teaching styles. Entry at Reception is non-selective and we work to achieve the best progress for each individual by adapting our approach to challenge or give support as needed.
